UMBRO CONTINUES 100TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS WITH THE SECOND DROP OF IT'S CELEBRATED CENTENARY COLLECTION.

Now Available in Australia.

Media Summary

British sports brand Umbro is lighting the fuse on its centenary celebrations with a fresh global campaign and a second drop in its Centenary Collection.

Since 1924, Umbro has redefined the sportswear landscape. From pioneering collaborations with genre-defining brands, including Boiler Room, Aries, Palace, and Supreme, to partnerships with professional and grassroots football teams, Umbro has celebrated its conviction that sport lives beyond the locker room and the pitch, extending across every aspect of life.

Since its inception 100 years ago in Manchester's Northern Quarter, known in the 19th century as Cottonopolis, Umbro has celebrated its conviction that sport lives beyond the locker room and the pitch.

With 100 years of English sports in every stitch, The Centenary Collection is inspired by Umbro’s rich design history and multi-sports roots, with a particular emphasis on football. Combining sports-inspired themes with trend-led silhouettes, the collection reimagines Umbro’s function-first sporting designs for a new trend-savvy generation for whom the lines between sportswear and fashion have never been more blurred.

Centenary Collection Drop 2 Highlights

Monogram Anthem Jacket:

A standout from the collection, the Monogram Anthem Jacket combines sophisticated style with athletic performance. With a striking all-over monogram pattern and sleek design, this jacket embodies the perfect balance of streetwear and sports-inspired fashion. It features a full zip, ribbed cuffs, and collar and keeps you looking sharp on the sidelines or in the city.

Reversible Ramsey Jacket:

A reimagined classic, this fully reversible puffer jacket features a matte/shine jacquard on one side and a diamond graphic gradient on the other. The iconic Ramsey stripe adorns the bomber collar, cuffs, and waistband, with a ''filled-in'' diamond logo on the chest—a faithful nod to Umbro's 1960s heritage.

Retro-Inspired Football Shirts:

Inspired by football kits of the late 1970s and early 1980s, Umbro introduces a range of football tops that provide a street-savvy take on a wardrobe classic.

Versatile Streetwear:

Blurring the lines between sportswear and fashion, the collection introduces pieces designed for the streets as much as for the field. With trend-led silhouettes and a focus on comfort, the latest Centenary collection drop is perfect for sportswear-loving Aussies looking for versatile, sporty looks.

This season’s Centenary campaign supports the new collection, which serves as a love letter to Umbro’s hometown, Manchester’s Northern Quarter. The campaign portrays an area of innovation, constant renewal, and cultural relevance to the brand.

The spirit of Manchester is ingrained in Umbro’s DNA. From the moment Umbro launched out of Harold and Wallace Humphreys’ linen shop to global brand partnerships, Umbro has stuck with the place it calls home. As Umbro approaches its centenary, the brand celebrates its heritage while looking forward to the future of football and fashion.

In conjunction with the Centenary Collection, Umbro is re-launching its Australian presence with exclusive brand collaborations and fresh content for Australian audiences. The second drop of the Centenary Collection is available in select football specialty stores across Australia and through Umbro's newly launched Australian website, Umbro.com.au.
